We know that raising children, though an extraordinary experience, can also be isolating at times. With this in mind, the Grapevine, Colleyville, Southlake Moms League was created in 1994 to fulfill the need for friendship, support, and community. Today, with more than 180 members, we bring together mothers (and fathers) from across the North Texas area to share in a wide range of activities and events, including children's events, playgroups, adult events and charitable initiatives. In addition, we are a Moms League that is committed to giving back to our community. While none of us can predict the long-term impacts of this health and economic crisis, we can all agree that there is a greater need for giving back now than ever before. We select an array of charitable organizations every year to support, and 100% of the proceeds from this specific campaign will go to Genesis Women's Shelter.

Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Collin County advocates for the best interest of children in foster care. Since 1997, we have served 100% of the abused and neglected children removed from their homes in Collin County. Within 24 hours of the removal, CASA is appointed by District Court Judges as the child’s guardian ad litem. As the child’s official voice in court, CASA works tirelessly to make sure the child (and parents) receive the services needed and the child’s case moves through the system as quickly as possible. The goal is for each child to be reunited with family if appropriate or to be placed in a safe and loving forever home if reunification is not possible.
